More Magic of Xanth/Centaur Aisle, Ogre-Ogre, Night Mare
Published in Paperback by Ballantine Books (November, 1989)
Author: Piers Anthony
Average review score:

Three for the Price of One
This is a great book to get, because it is actually three Xanth books in one. The first one, Centaur Aisle, is the fourth book in the series, and continues the mix of humorous puns, romance, and fantasy adventure as Dor is left in charge of Xanth as King Trent takes a "vacation" to Mundania (Earth). However, when the King goes missing, Dor must set out to find him, so he treks to the Southern most reaches of Xanth, the entrance to Mundania is of course to the North.

Book 5 Ogre, Ogre is a endearing tale of an Ogre who goes out on a quest, but forgets what it was he was questing for near the start of his trek. Nothing to fear though, everything works out in the end.

Book 6, Nightmare is a story about one "horses" dream to see the rainbow. Before she can though, she must save Xanth from the latest wave of Mundanians, Solve the problem of the disapearing Kings, and deal with the dastardly Horse man. All will be revealed by the end of the novel.

The Morrow Anthology of Younger American Poets
Published in Paperback by William Morrow (April, 1985)
Authors: Dave Smith, David Bottoms, and Anthony Hecht
Average review score:

A VERY SERIOUS SURVEY OF AMERICA'S NEW POETIC LANDSCAPE
Hard to believe no one has reviewed this yet. For those seriously interested in the poetry scene in this country, the Morrow Anthology is essential. Some of the poets--Rita Dove, Tess Gallagher, Jon Anderson, Stephen Dobyns, Carolyn Forche, etc--have gone on to bright careers, while others have faded in the decade or more since the anthology was first published. But what a monumental task Dave Smith and David Bottoms---excellent poets themselves---took on by putting together this book. Incredible book, hands down.

A fun story of a little mouse who queries his animal pals
Anthony Morris provides the illustrations for Mouse Tells The Timep, a fun story of a little mouse who queries his animal pals on how they tell time. Everyone has a different method: some look at shadows, some use dandelion clocks, some hour glasses - but poor mouse is confused by all these different methods, and must find his own way in this reassuring lift-the-flap tale.

Mr Scarborough's Family
Published in Leather Bound by Pickering & Chatto Ltd (01 January, 2000)
Authors: Anthony Trollope and Richard Mullen
Average review score:

One of Trollope's best.
This is one of my favorite Trollopes (and I've read 35 so far)! It is witty, clever and has plot twists worthy of the best suspense writers. This one deals with one of Trollope's favorite topics -- the law -- with the usual romantic crises thrown in, of course. Excellent book and I highly recommend it.
